Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician (Instandhaltungstechniker / Industriemechaniker) is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, technical safety, and continuous functionality of industrial production machinery, conveyer systems, and plant automation systems. Working in manufacturing hubs like Giessen, Hessen, this role focuses on preventing equipment breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and executing routine servicing and repairs.
Requirements
Minimum Kenyan Qualification:
• KCSE certificate
• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related TVET qualification
Key Requirements:
• 2–3 years' experience maintaining industrial conveyor technology and systems
• Proficiency in servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment
• Strong adherence to safety standards and operational protocols
• B2 German is mandatory
